Back to school!

Well, look who is at back at school today! How exciting to be able to return to the classroom after 3 long months of being in extended lockdown? Here is Suliano enjoying his morning tea and waiting for the bell to go home with some Team 2 friends!

Addition practice at home

Suliano has been a superstar learner during lockdown practising basic facts in addition for maths. He knows the answers to these equations. Keep up the great work from Mrs Carter.

My dogs and whanau time

Suliano loves his two dogs called Kyra and Kyon. He takes them out for daily walks and exercise with his family. He also likes to give them hugs! Great job on caring for your pets during lockdown and keeping fit at the same time.

Rm 24 Google Meet

Yesterday afternoon we had the best turnout at our 2pm Google Meet of 12 children and 2 support staff online. Can you see yourself and your friends? We talked about who has a "Pop It" at their house and we showed them to each other... This is Mrs Carter's rainbow teddy one!

Father's Day

Suliano wrote his Dad a lovely letter for Father's Day and also gave him a present. What a kind and thoughtful boy you are!

Suliano has joined in some of our Team 2 Assembies online and our afternoon class chats during lockdown.

Happy 7th Birthday!

My trip to Stardome!

Suliano enjoyed travelling by bus to Cornwall Park in Greenlane to visit the observatory. He learnt about how the sun and moon rotate around the earth to give us day and night. He watched the movie about Tycho the dog travelling to space and had fun at the playground with his friends! What did you like the best?

Suliano has done a great job of writing a story using words he knows and also sounding out letters for his sentence. Well done from Mrs Carter.

Suliano's dinosaur!

When Suliano came to meet the teacher he brought his toy dinosaur from home and it looked like the one in the book he has been reading!

Water Safety in Term 1!

For the next two weeks Team 2 get to go swimming at the Glen Innes pools. Suliano enjoyed learning how to float on his back like a starfish and being safe with a noodle around his tummy!
